My Alma Mater/My sanctuary

Four years of my collegiate life spent here at the Northern part of the Philippines(Baguio), At first i was culture shocked by the Ilocanos way of life, dialect adjustments, eating half cooked foods(pinakbet),cold temperature, plus HOMESICK. But as the days, months, and years passed i gradually adopted their culture. Learning some basic words such as Darsum man(faster) Papanam(where are you going), Basit laeng(a little bit)and the famous Uki.....(censored!) are the words i first learned. I can't speak Ilocano fluently, but you can't sell me he he

With the knowledge i learned from my alma mater, i am very grateful with SLU and considered myself as a true blooded Louisian.
Thank you St. Aloysius(Louis)De Gonzaga

This year SLU Celebrates its centennial year

The SLU Chapel, my sanctuary for four years, everytime i visited Baguio, hadn't miss going here. I'd been molded as a true Louisian,
