REWIND-Gimik

A patterned gimmik

SB NA! that’s the magic word,in a form of text, phone calls, FB chat, and tweets
and there you have it, the gimik will start. Usually done early evening, so tamang dinner sya.

The characters?
Ron (CB) the couple Joey & Joan(Reysan Farm) and yours truly Mar(CMPCI)
and of course JJ (d e-mart boy)

I considered it as a patterned walk, the same venue (NLEX Northbound) except for 1 time Max Resto, SM Marilao and the first one at Guilberts in Plaridel.

The gimik will start with dinning in at Pizza hut/Kenny Rogers, heavy and sometimes light meals.
We talk a lot about life , works , sentiments, choir activities, and planned trips (out of town and abroad).

Ron will go to BUSAN SK this month, CORON Palawan awaits Joey and Joan, September will be my BORACAY trip.

After a sumptuous dinner, the next stop is the main event SB(Starbucks). From Capuccino to latte espresso mocha etc. I guess we tried all of them. An hour of sipping coffee plus a chit chat and a free wifi for our internet need completes our bonding.

After that relaxing coffee bonding, the final stop is at DQ (Dairy Queen), The original Blizzard (Oreo, choco chips and banana split flavor )is our all time favorite. Though it is unhealthy because of its sugar content, it wont stop us ha ha.

This signals the end of our Gimik, yet routinary ,the BONDING IS PRICELESS. Time to go home as the eyes of JJ speaks that it is Bedtime.
REWIND ENDS.

REWIND-Sonyas Garden

SONYAS GARDEN
Date: January 2010
Place: Alfonso Cavite
Occasion: My Birthday

Excited and Curious, the first impression i felt when i saw one TV program documenting a resto topic, showing how unique the place is.

We decided to go to Sonyas Garden for my birthday celebration, knowing for a fact the kind of dishes will be serve (veggies, veggies and veggies ha ha).

We made a reservation for the place and resto, we found out that they are serving dish other than veggies, CHICKEN, braised and roast (Special Order only )! Good news for the anti-veggies(Adel)
The set lunch menu cost 610.00 each, Eat all you can type. The cost maybe unpopular for a veggie dish, but we gamble the experience.

My favorite Refilled Dalandan Juice, One to sawa, Super Asimmmm!

Calling all Veggie people, this place is for you.

Dessert: Sweet glazed potato, banana roll(Turon)with Langka and homemade chocolate cake with mint leaves

Close to nature, cool indeed.

Green,Green everything is Green

Awesome place, SONYAS GARDEN, the name speaks itself GARDEN.

Time to go home now, a different and memorable experience especially on food served plus the cool garden, rating the place from 1 to 10 it's an EIGHT. Ok time to go to the next stop TAGAYTAY.

Lesson: BE CAREFUL

A lesson to be learned from my story, It goes this way:

The 11th of this month, i made an online payment(via BPI) on one of my utility bills, Globelines to be specific, when i erroneously click the account of Digitel. At first i haven't notice the mistake I've done, and found out only yesterday, when i'm reviewing my BPI ledger. I prepared all necessary papers for the refund of my payments (E-mail confirmation of payments and letter requesting refund).

Fast forward, at the office of Digitel everything went ok till i found out the date of refund will take 6 months! whoaaaaa! though the amount is minimal, i wonder why it should took that so long, what if i made a mistake on a bigger amount hayzzzz, so that's the lesson be VERY VERY CAREFUL.

A word of consolation from customer service officer, Don't worry i'll call you when the refund materialized earlier.
Looking forward for the 6 months period to come to receive my refundable check he he.

BREATHTAKING the best way to describe this northernmost province which is islands away from Taiwan. Fascinated by the magnificent scenery and awesome locals , visiting this place is highly recommended to those who really have passion on nature tripping.

BORACAY

The first time i step at Boracay Island, felt captivated by the island's white sand and crystal clear water,
the exodus begins, had a feeling that every visits felt a first time.
So many plans with boracay, have my own resort, build a unique bar, a resto, and even a lottery outlet ha ha me and my wild imagination. Lean season is my favorite time to visit the island, quiet serene and a few people/tourist helps me meditate with my life.

This year my island's schedule visit will be September!

My Alma Mater/My sanctuary

Four years of my collegiate life spent here at the Northern part of the Philippines(Baguio), At first i was culture shocked by the Ilocanos way of life, dialect adjustments, eating half cooked foods(pinakbet),cold temperature, plus HOMESICK. But as the days, months, and years passed i gradually adopted their culture. Learning some basic words such as Darsum man(faster) Papanam(where are you going), Basit laeng(a little bit)and the famous Uki.....(censored!) are the words i first learned. I can't speak Ilocano fluently, but you can't sell me he he

With the knowledge i learned from my alma mater, i am very grateful with SLU and considered myself as a true blooded Louisian.
Thank you St. Aloysius(Louis)De Gonzaga

This year SLU Celebrates its centennial year
Light of the North,Saint Louis University,

The SLU Chapel, my sanctuary for four years, everytime i visited Baguio, hadn't miss going here. I'd been molded as a true Louisian,
